Haraki-San’s hands-on experience in Japan as a denim craftsman throughout the 80’s and 90’s begat The Works, Inc. in 2003.  Presently, The Works manufactures and provides top tier, heavy weight, and tough denim to his own world-renowned brand Iron Heart. Hand made, durable and heavy duty, Iron Heart has gained thousands of followers throughout the world since its inception. 

Ken’s Factory was founded in 1990. More than just custom motorcycles, being one of the very few shops in the world creating masterpieces for the most demanding clientele. A lifelong gearhead and fanatic of American muscle on both two & four wheels, Ken Nagai’s motto “Details Create Style” aspires to cross the boundaries between his mechanical, Neo-Fusion styling finesse and Haraki-San’s top tier heritage denim. 

The mutual appreciation of lifelong passions brings together ideas and style to push the envelope once again. With both Haraki-San and Ken’s affinity for motorcycles, Ignition Works strives to put more emphasis toward the two-wheeled pilot. Necessary subtleties that true enthusiasts of both realms will recognize. Attributes that harness confidence in blasting across town to a local hang out. Week-long rides across the country that build character on both motorcycle and a favorite pair of denim, all of which we recognize. 

Ignition Works’ ideals speed-shifts us further, beyond current constraints. We bring tighter silhouettes, more comfortable modern fitment; shave the excess as a gearhead would on a backstreet racer. Keeping true with strong, proprietary, heavy weight denim, as we would consider it to be the base of our unique machine.
